  As per our supplier&#039;s status page: &lt;https://status.dataforest.net/incidents/b30nqxzp2lgj&gt;
A software bug in our aggregation switches led to a major outage when we committed a (regular) change in our edge network related to the DDoS attacks. Only rebooting the devices could restore Layer 2 connectivity which was completely lost. Connectivity was recovered at 14:00 CEST, BGP sessions are coming since then. .</p>

  We are planning for a scheduled maintenance. We will conduct some major updates on the underlying frameworks our website and panel uses. This means that things might be sporadically inaccessible during the specified timeframe.

The hosting services themselves will not be affected. This includes VPS and dedicated servers..</p>

  We’ve identified our main ATS (automatic transfer switch) to be faulty. An ATS is responsible for automatically transferring a power supply from its primary source to a backup source when it senses a failure or outage in the primary source.

<p><small>Jun <var data-var='date'> 14</var>, <var data-var='time'>22:12:00</var> GMT+0</small><br /><strong>Identified</strong> -
  At 00:12 CEST, the main fuse of one of our server racks tripped in the datacenter, resulting in an outage. On-site datacenter technicians temporarily fixed the issue relatively quickly.

We’ve identified the issue to be caused by a faulty ATS (automatic transfer switch). An ATS is responsible for automatically transferring a power supply from its primary source to a backup source when it senses a failure or outage in the primary source. Currently, the ATS has been completely removed to get our infrastructure back online as quickly as possible. .</p>
